SKILLET CABBAGE PIE: AN EASY, THRIFTY, AND SURPRISINGLY DELICIOUS WHOLE MEAL DINNER!

SKILLET CABBAGE PIE!

• 3 cups of shredded cabbage
• 1 carrot, shredded
• 1 onion, finely sliced
• 1/4 leeks, finely sliced
• 1 tomato, finely chopped
• 1/3 cup of parsley and green onions
• 1/3 cup all-purpose flour or any kind of flour of your choice
• 1 tablespoon vegan mayo or oil or you can skip the oil
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 2 teaspoons lemon juice
• Salt to taste
• Pepper to taste
• 1/4 cup plant-based milk
• 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast

Instructions

  • 1.
    Mix all ingredients in a bowl, add to a nonstick skillet or a previously greased pan, cover and let it cook until brown in low heat for about 10 to 15 minutes, flip it, cover it and let cook for 15 minutes more; or bake it in the oven for about 25-30 minutes at 185℃ (370℉).
