Another Brazilian staple: Oven-baked hotdogs and we have it with tomato sauce and really, whatever vegetables you have in your fridge, this dish is very forgiving and democratic. And easy to make and sooooo delicious, children absolutely love it! So give it a go and be surprised, cuz this recipe is sure going to impress you!

BRAZILIAN OVEN BAKED HOT DOG PIE!🇧🇷

• FOR THE BATTER:
• 2 cups of all-purpose flour
• 2 1/2 cups unsweetened soy milk
• 1 tablespoon of baking powder
• 1 tablespoon of lemon or lime
• 2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast
• 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseeds
• 1/4 cup of oil
• 1 teaspoon of salt
• FOR THE FILLING:
• 1/3 cup sweet corn
• 1/3 cup olives
• 1/4 cup chopped onions
• 1 chopped tomato without seeds
• 6 to 8 vegan hot dog sausages, chopped
• Chopped parsley to taste
• 1/2 cup (or more) of tomato sauce
• A pinch of salt if needed

Instructions

    In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the filling, reserve
  • 2.
    Preheat the oven to 200℃.
  • 3.
    Make the batter by mixing all the ingredients for the batter, mix very well until it's lump-free and smooth. Grease the baking tray and flour it, add the batter then add the filling on top by distributing it evenly all over the top. Put it in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
